How Much Business Revenue Do You Need?
I was recently meeting with a group of small business owners and entrepreneurs and I asked them how much revenue their business needed to produce in order for them to reach their business and personal financial goals.
The room got silent.
Not one person knew the answer to my question!
It seems strange, but a lot of business owners or self-employed individuals have NO idea how much business revenue they need to bring in during the year to reach their goals.
And I know how it is. You’re busy working hard in your business or with your freelance work, but how do you expect to reach any goals in life if you have no idea what your goals are?
So you have to take the time to get super clear about your business revenue goal every year and then spend your time focusing on what you need to do to reach that goal- i.e. how many products do you sell, how many clients do you work with, service pricing, marketing plan, etc.
So today, I want to talk about how you actually figure out this number if you’re self-employed or own a business. This video is for you if you’re a freelancer, independent contractor, consultant, or solo practitioner. Basically anybody who’s running their small business.
Watch this video where I explain how to actually calculate your business revenue goal for the year.
